Innovative high-rotation atomisers are used for painting the exterior and interior at Porsche AGâs new paint shop.
The new paint shop at Porsche AG in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen: the system does without the otherwise obligatory 60-metre-high exhaust air collecting stack.
Sealing work on the bodies is carried out in the PVC department on the ground floor of the new paint shop. Also located on this floor: paint laboratory, paint mixing room, maintenance workshop and ancillary units.
The Porsche 911 plus Boxster/Cayman model series are painted on the first floor â in a process which is 100% protected against dust.
Pre-treatment and cathodic dip coating are carried out on the 2nd floor of the new paint shop.
