On July 14, 1967, Paul Hawkins and Rolf Stommelen won the Targa Florio in the Porsche 910-8.
Vic Elford and Umberto Maglioli achieved pole position, lap record and overall victory in the Porsche 907-8 in 1968.
With the Porsche 908/02 Spyder, Porsche managed a fourth victory in 1969. Gerhard Mitter and Udo Schütz were the Targa Florio overall winners.
Overall victory at the 1970 Targa Florio went to Brian Redman and Jo Siffert in the Porsche 908/03 Spyder.
The winning vehicle for 1973 was the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR (right) driven by Herbert Müller and Gijs van Lennep. On the left is the Porsche 914-6 belonging to a private racing team.
